Dean founded the Carver Home Team after leaving the dot com wine business in 2000. He practiced real estate in Portland, OR until moving to Phoenix, AZ to be near his family in 2004 and has become one of the top realtors in the area. Dean’s knowledge and experience along with his team of real estate professionals has enabled the Carver Home Team to sell over 260 homes since 2009.

On why Dean likes working with buyers

Dean’s passion for real estate was fully realized in July of 2009 when he became a founding partner of United Brokers Group, a real estate brokerage, serving the Phoenix Metro Area. As of November 2012 they have over 185 producing realtors. Dean sits on the Board of Directors, is the brand and marketing guru and assists in running Masterminds for UBG’s Realtors.

On how Dean’s passion for real estate started

“I fell in love with real estate but more importantly houses by watching the PBS show This Old House. Then I bought and flipped my first house and there was no stopping me. I bring that passion to the table for every home I sell!”

Dean is always learning and adding to his arsenal of marketing and real estate knowledge. He was the first Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, Million Dollar Guild Member in the East Valley and became a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist in 2006. When the market shifted he dove in and grabbed the market by the horns learning the Short Sale process and obtaining the industry standard Certified Distressed Property Expert designation. Since 2007 the Carver Home Team has successfully negotiated 95% of their short sale listings.
